Not stable yet. WolOS is in active development and the current ISO is a test build: try it in a virtual machine or on a spare disk, not on a computer you depend on.

One site: the manual, packages and Store in one place

The manual now lives on this site, the package list is a real JSON API, and there is a feed.

The WolOS website used to describe the system and point elsewhere for the details. It now carries them.

The manual

The Manual is built from the same documents the system is developed from. Every page opens with what the thing is, why it works that way and how to use it, in plain words, followed by the full reference. The left column lists every page and the search box searches all of them, in your browser.

Packages, as an API

The Packages page lists every package on the WolOS image: the ones WolOS makes or forks, and the Arch Linux packages it pins. It is also a static API: /api/packages.json for the whole list and /api/packages/<name>.json for one package, each saying whether the package is native to WolOS.

The Store and plugins

The Store page shows the same curated catalogue as the App Store on WolOS, with Kits that install a whole set of apps in one approval. The Plugins page explains what a plugin is and how an agent writes one in five steps.
